Picturesque villages are scattered through the hills. The legendary bucket maker was impersonated by Janko Tro\u0161t, the initiator of the Idrija Municipal Museum establishment and the versatile cultural worker.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-vovkalica.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">Adults and children often played a popular \u201cvolkalca\u201d social game with beans.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-partizanski-dnevnik.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">One of the editors of the Partisan Journal, printed by the Slovenia Partisan Printing Shop, was the writer France Bevk.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-kosrude.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">A piece of a cinnabar ore in the exhibition named Five Centuries of the Mercury Mine and the Town of Idrija at Gewerkenegg Castle weighs to 9.6kg. The richest ore containing up to 70% of mercury was called the \u201cshaft\u201d by the miners.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-partizanskabolnica.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">During the accelerated construction of new huts in the Franja Partisan Hospital a fountain was made in 1944. Originally, it had the form of a five-pointed star, but had to be reshaped at the request of Doctor Franja. The wounded and the staff were looking forward to it like little children.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-franja.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">Doctor Franja Bojc got married during the war (Bidovec) in a nearby Log inn, which was also a secret place for maintaining connections between partisan units, and the feast was held in the Franja Hospital. <\/div><\/div><div class=\"ste_vedeli_slide\"><div class=\"slideimg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.muzej-idrija-cerkno.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/stevedeli-kamst.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"slidetext\">The water wheel of the Idrija \u201cKam\u0161t\u201d is 13.6m in diameter.
